Entry: www.pigtones.com will post videos on it’s youtube.com and votigo.com profiles where you can showcase your GPS voice ideas. From new voices, to interesting situations where GPS voices would be cool, funny, irreverent to situational comedy. Video entry should convey the following: what could be some funny situations, where this could be used. What voices can be funny or fun in these situations. Video Entry must feature/include www.pigtones.com branding, logos, icons or packaging for 10 seconds within the video. Creative assets will be available at www.pigtones.com/creative
Enter as often as you wish; however, each entry must meet the requirements below and must be submitted separately. Entrants are required to agree to these Official Rules at the time of entry by using the accept feature at the Web site. Entries must be received by and contest ends at by 10/31/2008. All Web site entrants must have a valid e-mail address. In case of dispute as to identity of the winner who enters, entry will be declared/made by the registered user (meeting eligibility criteria) of the YouTube account, and if a prize is won, it will be awarded to that registered user. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified.
Entry must meet all of the following requirements or it will be disqualified.
You must abide by these requirements and with YouTube's terms and conditions. www.pigtones.com reserves the right to prescreen, monitor and remove postings, all at its discretion.
• Entry must feature/include www.pigtones.com branding (logo, icons or product). The www.pigtones.com brand does not need to be the star of the video.
• If entrant incorporates music, entrants must use only approved music provided by Sponsor at www.pigtones.com/creative.
• Entry must be in one of the following formats: .mov, .avi., .wmv or .mpg and must not exceed a file size larger than 200MB or 4minutes in length.
• Entry must be in English.
• Entry must not violate third-party rights including, but not limited to: copyrights, including music copyrights, trademark, and right of publicity. Do not show any third-party trademarks, company names or logos.
• Entry must be original, unpublished, the sole property of submitter, and not previously submitted in any other contest.
• You must have written permission from any identifiable person, who appears in, is heard in, or otherwise contributed to the video Entry ("Participant"). Or anyone who has allowed the use of his/her name, likeness/voice or contribution in the video Entry, and Participants must pass along all rights for usage to www.pigtones.com . You must have each participant sign the "Participant Release" form, found at www.pigtones.com/creative, in the "Creative Stuff" tab, and provide such release to www.pigtones.com as requested. Participants must be 18 years or older or if Participant is a minor, Participant's parent must sign Release.
• As a condition of participation in the contest, Participant's name, signature, biographical information, performance, voice, portrait, photograph and/or any other likeness of you (including a caricature), your statements, opinions, and/or testimonial, if any, in whole or in part ("Image and/or Statements"), are used in any advertising such that the use of your Image and/or Statements is subject to the SAG Commercials Contract, you agree to sign such standard contract and accept the minimum amount of compensation due.
• By submitting a video you agree that www.pigtones.com has the unrestricted right to: use your video Entry in whole or in part, commercially or non-commercially, in any media known or unknown, in perpetuity, worldwide, including the right to publish and display the video Entry for advertising and publicity, and to edit and make derivative works, all without additional review or compensation. Additionally you agree that www.pigtones.com may post your Entry (including your name) on its Web site(s) and/or its Web pages on third-party sites.
• To submit your video, you must read and agree to these official rules ("Official rules") by clicking the submit button. You agree that by submitting this video, you relinquish all rights, as outlined herein, and the video, its characters and content becomes the property of www.pigtones.com USA, Inc.
• As a condition of participation in the contest, entrant and all Participants agree that if, in the event their likeness, including performance, voice and image in any form, as incorporated in the Video Entry, in whole or in part, are used in any advertising such that the use is subject to the SAG Commercials Contract, each agrees to sign such standard contract and accept the minimum amount of compensation due pursuant to the SAG Commercial Contract.
Finalists: Finalists will be notified on or about 11/25/08 and will be required to sign a release, and provide a signed release for any other Participants featured in or who otherwise contributed to the video Entry (as stated in the requirements section above), and return to Sponsor by 12/4/2008 or finalist will be disqualified and will forfeit any prize, and another finalist may be selected.
Finalists' entries will be featured on youtube.com/pigtones and the votigo.com’S pigtones profile during which time YouTube members may vote for their favorite video based on the judging criteria above. You must be a registered Votigo member to vote. The entries receiving the most votes by 11:59 p.m. ET, on 11/25/08 will be determined the finalists and winners will be notified on or about 12/05/08. Prizes:
Expenses not specifically stated are the sole responsibility of the winner. No cash substitutions for prizes; prizes are nonrefundable and nontransferable, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner and winner of any prize over $600.00 must provide their information, including Social Security number, for tax reporting purposes or prize will be forfeited and another winner may be selected. If a winner is an eligible minor in their jurisdiction of residency ("Minor"), all paperwork will be required to be executed on said minor's behalf by his or her parent or legal guardian.
Winners: Winners will be required to sign a Winner's Agreement and Release and return it by 12/15/08 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and another winner may be selected. By submitting an entry, a winner agrees to allow use of his or Entry, name and/or likeness for advertising this or similar promotions without compensation, unless prohibited by law. All entries and all rights of ownership and publication of same will become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
Eligibility: Contest open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years or older, except employees and the families of www.pigtones.com USA, Inc., YouTube, Inc., their respective affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies. www.pigtones.com USA, Inc., YouTube, Inc., their affiliated companies, representatives, agents or employees are not responsible for, and shall be indemnified by, the prize winner and entrants against any claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, use, misuse, possession, or loss of the prize and from any and all use of the video entries. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Subject to all federal, state and local laws.
Other conditions: Sponsor assumes no responsibility for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures of any kinds, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Contest, in its entirety or in part should virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest by any technical or human errors which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Contest.
